Jakarta Capital City will soon be equipped with 17 artificial islands that stretches along the Bay of Jakarta as far as 32 ​​km. The existence of this project will require a lot of soil and sand material to build a new island to a total of 5,100 hectares.

Head of Sub Directorate of the Directorate General of Urban Spatial Ministry of Public Works (PU) Eko Budi Kurniawan mentioned, there are a number of options mentioned in planning the expansion of 17 artificial islands.
