Haze Disturb Air Transportation

Thick haze from land and forest fires are still covered Sumatra and Kalimantan. Flights to and from the airport disturbed.

According to the Ministry of Transportation, there are 15 airports disturbed by haze:
1. Syamsuddin Noor Airport, Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan. Visibility is 500 meters.
2. Supadio Airport, Pontianak, West Kalimantan. Visibility is 500 meters.
3. Haji Asan Airport, Sampit, East Kotawaringin, Central Kalimantan. Visibility is only 300 meters.
4. Pangsuma Airport, Putussibau, West Kalimantan. Visibility is 1,000 meters.
5. Susilo Airport, Sintang, West Kalimantan. Visibility is 1,000 meters.
6. Nanga Pinoh Airport, Melawi, West Kalimantan. Visibility is 1,000 meters.
7. Tjilik Riwut Airport, Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan. Visibility is 300 meters.
8. Iskandar Airport, Pangkalan Bun, Central Kalimantan. Visibility is only 200 meters.
9. Kalimarau Airport, Tanjung Redep, East Kalimantan. Visibility is only 100 meters.
10. Melalan Airport, Melak, East Kalimantan. Visibility is 500-600 meters.
11. Nunukan Airport, North Borneo. Visibility is 500 meters.
12. Sultan Syarif Kasim II Airport, Pekanbaru, Riau. Saturday (19/9). Visibility is only 600 meters.
13. Sultan Taha Syaifuddin Airport, Jambi. Visibility is 700 meters.
14. Depati Amir Airport, Pangkal Pinang, Bangka Belitung. Visibility is 1,500 meters.
15. H.A.S. Hanandjoeddin Airport, Tanjung Pandan, Bangka Belitung. Visibility is 2,500 meters. ( * )
