Failed to pay royalties, Bombana government reported mining companies to anti-corruption commission

Nearly all mining companies in Bombana district of Southeast Sulawesi failed to pay royalties prompted local government to report them to the Corruption Eradication Commission, or known simply as KPK. Currently, there are 89 mining companies with legal permits operating in the district. However, head of Bombana Mining and Energy Agency, Yusuf Lara, said that almost all of the companies did not pay their royalties despite of warnings.
