Soybeans from Papua, produced by farmers in the area of Nimbokrang and Keerom, not much preferred by Papuan tofu and tempe producer. They prefer soybeans from Java rather than local because the quality is better. Papua soybean production in 2014 according to the forecast figures I estimated at 3,622 tons of dry beans (BK), a decrease of 987 tons (21.41 percent) compared to the previous year at 4,609 tonnes BK. Based on the forecast numbers, the largest soybean producing provinces are East Java, Central Java, and West Nusa Tenggara. Papua Province ranks 19th after Southeast Sulawesi.
