The Better Data Of Forest Benefits Required

In addition to employment figures, the government has very few data on the exact number of people who have benefited from the forest. The report of “Global Forest Conditions”, reveals that in the formal forest sector employs 13.2 million people and at least 41 million people work in the informal sector. Better measurements are crucial to understand the total value of forest services and how to manage them, said Adrian Whiteman, FAO economist.
