The arrests occurred in conservation areas in the zone of Urbabo Mambrisau, district of Ayau, Raja Ampat, with coordinate N. 00′ 26.408 E.130’56.156. These findings are reported and acted upon by the Police in Ayau, then they arrest and bring the boat with the crew to the Dorekhar village. The ship will be brought to Waisai and processed by Raja Ampat Department of Marine and Fisheries Investigator Raja Ampat along with police investigators, while both of the captains and the evidence secured in the Ayau KKP.<\/p>\n
Related to the arrest of sharks in this conservation area Alberth Nebore, Raja Ampat Senior Manager of Conservation International (CI) Raja Ampat program said that “This arrest is not only shark hunting who break the law, but this was evidence that although the patrol team is no longer in CI, but the spirit to keep the sea are still along with the patrol team.” Whereas, according to the Coordinator of the KKPD Ayau Asian sector Ayau Kecil, Richart Mirino, the success of the arrest of this two boats cannot be separated from the cooperation of the patrol team and authority, so sea surveillance can be done together.<\/p>\n
Currently the boats along with its crew and evidence has been at Waisai for further processing.
