Instead, Lampung is the third poor province in Sumatra, after Bengkulu and Aceh,&#8221; he said. <\/p>\n<p>In addition, he said that collapsing natural resources was also contributed by community forest rights which covered nearly 80,000 hectares. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Lots of community forest are not working properly as they don&#8217;t plant hard plants,&#8221; he said adding that it threatens food security and causing water scarcity in Lampung. <\/p>\n<p>As a result, the province&#8217;s civil societies which are joined in the Reducing Emissions for Deforestation and Degradation (REDD) team, recommended for audits on communities and companies granted with rights of industrial plantation forests. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;If there are violations, then revoke their permits.
