“[We] can see fire erupting on Raung\u2019s crater. We can see it from Sumberwringin,” said Sri, a resident of Sumberwringin district. “We can also feel the ashes here; the rumbles as well.”<\/p>\n

Head of Regional Disaster Management (BPBD) of Bondowoso, Moch Cholili, confirmed the eruption. “Indeed there was an increase in tremor,” said Cholili. He also said that ashes and volcanic materials were in the sky, despite having lesser density than the previous ones.<\/p>\n
