Pekanbaru, Ekuatorial<\/strong> – Riau Police arrest operations manager of PT Langgam Inti Hibrindo (LIH), Frans Katihokang in Agam, West Sumatra, Wednesday (16\/9). He allegedly negligent, causing a fire in 530 hectares of their area. <\/p>\n

“After gathering information from dozens of witnesses, including expert witnesses, all point to him and we immediately arrested him,” said Deputy Director of the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation of Riau Police Superintendent Ari Rachman.<\/p>\n

According to Ari, he was in a meeting leaders in West Sumatra when the police arrested him.<\/p>\n

Last week, the Riau Police confirmed PT LIH as a suspect in forest fires of 530 hectares area in Pelalawan. Frans is now arrested as the individual perpetrator. Previously, he had twice investigated as a witness and eventually arrested as a suspect. <\/p>\n
