Mangroves in North Aceh is in Critical State

Mangroves in North Aceh experienced significant area depreciation. This happens due to land use changes that mostly to made ponds. “It is estimated that only 3,000 hectares of protected forest remaining today”, said Head of Forestry and Plantation of North Aceh, Eddi Sofiyan.
