Planting a thousand of mangroves has been done in the village of Alue Deah Teungoh, Meuraxa sub-district, Banda Aceh, in commemoration of the World Environment Day yesterday (5/6). Activity was initiated by public organization Indonesian Environmental Forum or WALHI with participation of locals, students and environmental communities in Banda Aceh. This activity is carried out to the extent of the damage to mangrove ecosystem in Aceh coastal areas.
