Indonesia is now the state with the highest deforestation rates in the world and goes beyond Brazil. Although the government has issued a moratorium on deforestation in May 2011, in fact, deforestation in Indonesia is growing rapidly instead. Not surprisingly, Indonesia has now become the third largest producer of gas emissions in the world.
