Riza Salman is a freelance journalist and documentary filmmaker who focuses on reporting on environmental, social and cultural issues. He started his career as a television journalist in 2008. In 2018 he focused on multimedia coverage for various national and foreign media. The report on Anoa's extinction threat in Sulawesi, published in Ekuatorial, is one of the most memorable environmental reports he has ever done and has contributed to acceleration on the implementatioin of local conservation policy and a change in people's behavior. Riza continues to report about social and environmental issues with an emphasis on solutions journalism.
