Satellites Detect 126 Hotspots in Riau
Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysiscs Agency (BMKG) claimed to have seen an increase at the number of hotspots in Pekanbaru, Riau. “Tera and Aqua Satellites Observation discovered 126 hotspots in Riau,” said BMKG Analyst Agus Widodo. Damage to Lorentz National Park Needs Investigation
Reports that parts of the Lorentz National Park have been damaged because of new road construction needs to be investigated, World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) Papua Director Benja Mambay said.
