The results of monitoring three volcanoes in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) shows that Mount Sangeang Api in Bima declared on alert status. While Mount Tambora in Dompu and Bima district, along with Mount Rinjani in Lombok are in the normal active state. Monitoring conducted by the Department of Mines and Energy of NTB as requested by the Governor of NTB after the eruption of Mount Sinabung in North Sumatra and Mount Kelud in East Java. “The development of this state need to be disseminated to the public,” said Husni, head of the Department of Mines and Energy of NTB (16/2).
