Center for Biological Research of the Indonesian Institute of Science (LIPI) has taken samples of sperms from wild animals to prevent the animals from extinction. Similar samplings have been done in Jatim Park in Malang, Bali Zoo, and deer breeding site in Kudus, Central Java.
