The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics (BMKG) Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta estimating, rain in the dry season which occurs in Yogyakarta lately, is the influence of the tropical storm in Philippines. The storm affects the weather in the province due to changes in wind direction, wind direction turned from the east to the north. At this turn, wind speed slows to cause the presence of clouds containing water vapor and drops to rain.
