Currently, drought has already hit parts of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), especially in the southern region of Lombok Island, that is in Pemongkong area and Jerowaru area in East Lombok. In addition, there are 2,132 hectares of rice field threatened in Central Lombok, Maronge, North Moyo, Stone Lanteh, and Moyo Hilir in Sumbawa. It is believed to be the impact of El Nino that reduces rainfall.
