15 Maleo Bird Hatched Naturally in Panua Reserve

A total of 15 nestling of Maleo (Macrocephalon maleo), endemic bird of Sulawesi, has been identified has hatched naturally in Panua reserve, Pohuwato, Gorontalo, in the period of January to December, 2013. This amount is far more than the previous record in 2012 which only six individual. Chief of Panua reserve resort, Tatang Abdullah, said beside those findings, they also noted 148 eggs of Maleo in the area.
