A number of environmental activists in Aceh claimed that there’s a number of fundamental environmental issues been ignored by Aceh Government in preparing Qanun Aceh Spatial Plan, which was approved in the end of 2013 ago by Aceh Parliament (DPRA). Such as, the loss of the nomenclature of the Leuser Ecosystem Area (KEL) in the Qanun. It was submitted by the activists to the EU Ambassador for Indonesia, Olof Skoog, in Banda Aceh, on Monday (16/06/2014) afternoon.
