Jaka is a freelance journalist who regularly writes for Mongabay Indonesia, a media focused on the environment. Since becoming a reporter in 2014, he has been writing about environmental, social, human right and cultural issues. Jaka received Pulitzer Rainforest grant in 2021 and several other reporting fellowships for environment in-depth reporting, data journalism, and investigative reporting.
