Marina Nasution started her journalism career in 2015 at DAAI TV Medan. In 2019, she migrated to Jakarta and continued her work as a reporter at Konde.co. Throughout her career, Marina has often raised issues related to women, children, and other marginalized groups. She has a keen interest in gender issues and she is now diving deeper into environmental issues and its impacts on communities. In 2021, Nasution was part of a team that studied how the Indonesian media frames and reports LGBT issues, a research that was supported by Internews. In 2022, Marina received a grant from the Internews’ Earth Journalism Network to produce a story on the impact of air pollution on transgender women.
