Fajri Fatmawati is a reporter based in Aceh and worked for a local news agency before joining Media Group Network/Metro. She completed her undergraduate degree in Indonesian language and literature at a private university in Banda Aceh City. She covers the environment and other topics including human rights and feminism. She is also passionate about photography. Fatma has received a few reporting fellowships including the most recent from HAkA Foundation -- an organization focused on the protection, conservation, and restoration of the Leuser ecosystem -- and the Society of Indonesian Environmental Journalists (SIEJ).
