Born and raised in Bengkulu City, Harry Siswoyo has been working as a journalist since 2009. He started his career at a daily newspaper in Bengkulu, then working part time for Kartini Magazine and viva.co.id. In 2012, he moved to Jakarta to become news editor at viva.co.id. Six years later Harry decided to quit to return to his village. Currently, aside from being e freelance journalist, Harry also provides writing courses for villagers, indigenous groups, women's groups, and minority groups in several villages.
