Born and raised in Bengkulu City, Harry Siswoyo has been working as a journalist since 2009. He started his career at a daily newspaper in Bengkulu, then working part time for Kartini Magazine and viva.co.id. In 2012, he moved to Jakarta and worked his way to become news editor at viva.co.id. In 2017, Harry returned to his hometown and has been working as a freelance journalist ever since. Currently, aside from being e freelance journalist, Harry also provides writing courses for villagers, indigenous groups, women's groups, and minority groups in several villages.
