Amandra Megarani started her journalistic career in 2007, after graduating from Bandung Institute of Technology. She became a reporter for Tempo covering various beats, from economics to lifestyle, and produce in-depth articles for the arts and culture section. In 2017, she joined Microsoft News as its editor/engagement specialist. Then in 2022, Amandra became a freelance journalist and have been covering the environment for Forest Digest. Amandra also holds a master’s degree in communication from the University of Indonesia. She has written an essay for the anthology “The Stories Women Journalists Tell” (2022), published by Penguin Books.

Terjerat pencemaran udara di ibukota

Pemerintah DKI Jakarta mencabut izin lingkungan tiga perusahaan yang menumpuk batu bara di Kawasan Industri Marunda, Jakarta Utara. Bertahun-tahun masyarakat Marunda terpapar debu batu bara. Banyak kelompok rentan terpapar debu dan merasakan dampak dari pencemaran udara Jakarta.
