Amandra Megarani started her journalistic career in 2007, after graduating from Bandung Institute of Technology. She became a reporter for Tempo covering various beats, from economics to lifestyle, and produce in-depth articles for the arts and culture section. In 2017, she joined Microsoft News as its editor/engagement specialist. Then in 2022, Amandra became a freelance journalist and have been covering the environment for Forest Digest. Amandra also holds a master’s degree in communication from the University of Indonesia. She has written an essay for the anthology “The Stories Women Journalists Tell” (2022), published by Penguin Books.
